Boston Punks ENERGY Announce UK Summer Tour

Energy

Following a huge UK tour earlier this year supporting goth-punks Creeper alongside Puppy and Milk Teeth, Boston’s Energy are extremely pleased to announce they will return to the UK this summer for a run of headline tour dates. Tickets go on sale 9am Friday 19th May 2017 and the band will be supported by Southampton punks Miss Vincent on all dates.

To celebrate the announcement, the band have revealed the video for their new single A Prayer For Rain which you can watch below!

Commenting on the news, the band’s front man TΛNK said: After receiving nothing short of an astonishingly positive reaction from audiences during our recent tour of the UK with Creeper, Energy are embarking on our first ever headlining tour of the U.K. with Miss Vincent this July.

‘We’re also looking forward to debuting some brand new songs for everyone as well as other songs from our lengthy discography that we didn’t have time for during our last run.

‘It’s going to be so fun to return and play for all of our fans over there, to see some familiar faces from last time, and hopefully some new ones as well!’

Formed in February of 2006 in the town of Stoughton, Massachusetts, over the last decade Energy’s signature style of sombre, melancholy melodies and introspective lyrics combined with infectiously poppy hooks has truly cemented them as one of Boston’s most unique bands.
Their latest record Apparition Sound is out now and available to purchase from iTunes or Bandcamp

Miss Vincent guitarist Lawrie Pattison said:

‘We’re stoked to hit the road with Energy this summer!

‘We caught them in Southampton on tour with Creeper back in March and they were killer, so it’s great to see them coming back to the UK so soon, and a real pleasure for us to be joining them.

‘Aside from our two upcoming release shows, this’ll be our first time playing our new record ‘Somewhere Else’ in full, so we’re really excited to be able to play all these new songs night after night. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for us and we couldn’t think of a better way to start it.’

Their new EP Somewhere Else drops this Friday 19th May on Uncle M.
