While She Sleeps score Top Ten album with ‘You Are We’

While She Sleeps’ third album You Are We entered the UK album charts at a career-high Number 8 last week. The record also debuted at Number 15 in Germany and Number 26 in Australia. The Sheffield band chose to fund the campaign with the help of their loyal fanbase through Pledge Music, making for a totally independently produced and released record. They achieved well over 200% of their initial goal and were able to connect with their fans every step of the way.

Made with Carl Bown, who also produced Brainwashed, the songs that comprise ‘You Are We’ reaffirm While She Sleeps as one of the most inspiring, riotous and important voices in British music today, demonstrating both their continued musical evolution and their incisive social conscience.

While She Sleeps are now on the road in the middle of a UK headline tour, which has seen them play many a sold out show. This summer will also see them traverse Europe and Australia, as well as China, Taiwan, Korea and Thailand. They’ll finish off festival season in style as headliners of The Pit stage at Reading and Leeds festivals.
