Following the release of their debut album The Summit Lies Skyward in October 2016 via Basick Records, progressive rock quartet FOES have unveiled a new video for album track Orchestrator.
Orchestrator features a surplus of heavy riffs and dark ambient sections, which, when combined with a nice melodic touch cements it as one of the most diverse tracks on the whole album.
Guitarist Joe Danher comments:
‘We really let ourselves loose when writing ‘Orchestrator’. Musically, it’s quite a complex, dark track, with the lyrics setting this theme of oppression, and for us, the video had to be an extension of those ideas. The end result is this unsettling, dystopian setting where the dark figure ominously follows the protagonist, recording her every move.’
FOES are set to hit the road next week, where they will be supporting Devil Sold His Soul across all four dates of their A Fragile Hope anniversary tour.
Full dates:
14th April – O2 ABC 2, Glasgow
