Following the announcement of their new EP The Tales of Our Youth, due out on March 21st, The Ultraviolet have announced that they’ll be supporting the release with an extensive UK tour in March.
As lead singer Ben Thorn explains: ‘We’re so excited to get out on tour, as we feel like we have a lot to offer people that might come out to the shows.
‘We spend a lot of time practicing and really refining our live show to make sure people get their money’s worth.
‘We want it to be a memorable experience for them so they go away knowing that they’d come back and see us again. It’s the key to growing your fan base!’.
Bassist Emilio Parla gives some background to their aims for the tour: ‘We’re just in the middle of a release schedule for our new EP ‘The Tales Of Our Youth’, so we’re really excited to play these new songs to people.
‘We released a video last year, and then our new one for ‘All I Need Is To Be Needed’, and the response online has been amazing. Hopefully that’ll translate to a fantastic live reception as well!’.
Drummer Russ Smith adds that: ‘This is just the first step hopefully.
‘We can’t wait for new people to check us out, and who knows where it might take us! We’d love to one day support Twenty One Pilots, or You Me At Six. They really brought the genre into the mainstream, so you never know!’.
