HACKTIVIST are sad to announce the departure of founding member and vocalist Ben Marvin. Due to family commitments and a desire to spend more time at home, Ben has made the tough decision to part ways with the band.
Ben has been an integral part of Hacktivist on stage and in the studio since the band’s inception, and the band open-heartedly wish him well for the future.
Ben says: ‘My time in Hacktivist has been sick! Big up all the fans across the world and the rest of the band for making this possible. One love.’
The band say: ‘We want to wish Ben all the best for his future endeavours. Hacktivist won’t be the same without him and we will all miss him. But this is also a new beginning for H, and we’re looking forward to the next chapter.’
Ben will be leaving at the end of the month following the hometown headline show at Milton Keynes’ Craufurd Arms (29th January) to mark Independent Venue Week.
All future touring commitments will be honoured, including shows at UK Tech-Fest, Download Spain and Graspop.
What comes next for Hacktivist is unwritten, and a replacement for Ben will be sought out and subsequently announced in due course.
