The Sisterhood is a band formed by Ruby Stewart and Alyssa Bonagura in 2015. After being introduced by mutual friends, the duo began writing a handful of songs and quickly found a way to sonically weave their respective rock ’n’ roll and country influences together.
Their self-titled debut EP was recorded at the Tree Top Recording in Nashville, and features four original tracks written by Alyssa and Ruby together in Nashville, including the sultry ‘Ride’, stripped back, soulful ‘One Light’ and a cover of Rod Stewart’s ‘Gasoline Alley’.
Having already supported Rod Stewart on his stadium tour this summer, Gary Clark Jr at the Brixton Academy in June and played numerous shows at the Great Escape, The Sisterhood play three headline shows this November after further support slots with Rod on his ‘Hits’ Arena tour:
