Chuck Ragan will apart of a great event in San Francisco on December 10th at SLIM’S (333 11th Street, San Francisco, CA) to benefit an organisation that is near and dear to the singer.
Cast Hope is a non profit organisation built on the ethics and mindset to make a positive difference in the lives of kids and teens by sharing the outdoors with them. Most of the kids completely disconnected or have seldom known the joys of surrounding yourself in nature as well as the importance of conservation within our natural world. Our goal is to simply light a spark within these young people to help connect them with nature and help guide them towards a passion for protecting it. Along the way these kids learn more of patience, independence, team work and confidence. The program was built by some good friends of mine close to a decade ago and has since made a massive difference in hundreds of kids lives.
Ragan said: ‘I’ve been working as a fishing guide and supporter for a couple years now and can vouch for the importance of this organisation and the crucial efforts it takes to keep the program alive and working for these kids.
‘If you’re in the Bay Area or coming from afar, I believe you’ll be stoked on the show we have in store for you.
‘Royal Oaks from Chico, CA. will be joining us along with SF’s very own Travis Hayes.
‘I’ll be playing as well as my buddy Rocky Votolato and we’ll be doing some tunes together.
‘On top of it all I’m super thrilled to have Reverend Peyton and His Big Damn Band there to blow the roof off.
‘There’s going to be a lot happening there and it’ll definitely be a night not to miss.
‘Please come show your support and help benefit a great cause for kids from the Bay Area to Northern California to Western Nevada. ‘
