We managed to catch up with the band about their upcoming EP, tour, fans and more!
So you’re releasing Solitude next month, how excited are you for this?
Tom: We’re so excited! It’s the best thing we’ve ever done so far! Everything is bigger and better so we really hope you like it
How was it working with Neil Kennedy with this release?
Chris: Was so good, he’s worked with some of our favourite bands so we knew we were in good hands. The EP sounds magical thanks to our wizarding friend, Neil!
Is this release any different to your other releases?
Dan: Yeah, in some ways it’s much simpler than our older stuff but in other ways it’s heavier. So we have the best of both worlds and it’s just lovely. Some of our biggest influences consists of bands like Lower Than Atlantis, Press To Meco, Biffy Clyro and Arcane Roots so imagine if all of those bands teamed up to create one super-group!
How stoked are you guys for your small tour next month?
Tom: It’s gonna be so fun! We’ve not really ventured that far outside of Bristol so it’s gonna be nice to play to some fresh faces and meet some lovely new people. Playing with some amazing bands too, so we’re really excited for that.
Will there be a full length album next year?
Chris: Unfortunately not, We’re just focusing on releasing EPs for the time being. But one day, for sure!
If you could work with any artist or band, who would it be and why?
Dan: It would have to be Press To Meco, we love their stuff so it’s had a big impact on our sound. We played with them last year and it was good fun so it would be great to do it again!
How much does your fans mean to you guys?
Tom: Anyone who has an interest in our band are pretty cool as far as we’re concerned. If it wasn’t for them, no one would be able to hear our music and that would make us sad…
What has been your proudest moment as a band so far?
Chris: We’re extremely proud of our new EP, Solitude so hopefully you can grab a copy on October 14th!
