LOS ANGELES, CA | On the brink of completing their first full US tour, RVLS continues to build momentum with their newest cover of Heathens by Twenty One Pilots. The California-based quartet is an alternative/pop powerhouse, featuring LA vocalist Kalie Wolfe. The video, which features live video footage from their recent self-booked Light Me Up tour, highlights a slick combination of raw, powerful vocals and innovative production. About the cover, Wolfe states: ‘Honestly it just felt right, I heard it and instantly hit up my guitar player Micket and he had it back to me within an hour.

‘I came in same day, did the vocals and then sent the tracks off to Cody Stewart (The Browning) to get it mixed and mastered, was a couple day process.

‘It just was right.’

RVLS has consistently believed in a DIY method of expansion. While vocalist Kalie has an extensive background in and appreciation for pop music, the current lineup focuses on creating high-energy alternative music. From playing the House of Blues to Warped Tour, the foursome can easily be considered West coast road veterans, and have used that title to recently make their mark on new touring territory on the opposite coast. Their latest EP, 2015’s “Haunted/Hunted,” is a 6-track collection containing seemingly-appropriate haunting and rather personal lyrics. Their music and personal mantra echo a strong message, to work hard for what you’re aiming to achieve and not back down among setbacks.

RVLS recently completely their upcoming full-length album (release date TBA).
