Having spent the last year holed up in the studio hard at work on the follow up to their 2016 Stay Sick Records debut album Hollow Stories, Coventry metal quartet Scream Blue Murder have returned!
The first taste of what’s to come from Scream Blue Murder in 2019 will be their new single Light It Up, which is set for release on the 18th of January. You can find the single artwork below.
When it comes to Light It Up, here’s SBM drummer Jamie Bloomer on what fans can expect from the single:
“Light it Up is something very different from our previous work and I can’t wait to release it. It’s so bouncy, you can sing along and it still retains our heavyness! 2019 is going to be our biggest year yet!”

On top of the new single news, Scream Blue Murder are also only a couple of weeks away from embarking on a huge UK and European Tour. They’ll be on the road as main support to Everyone Dies In Utah, first for a European show, and then for an extensive UK run of nine shows across England and Wales at the end of January.
